The word empathy means the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Gentlemen, most of you lack empathy. It is the lack of empathy that makes you a beast. But, if you do not learn how to become empathetic when necessary, if you do not learn how to see things from your woman’s perspective, you will lose her.

I would like to tell you a story…
A man owns a forest. His vision is to expand. Through planning, determination, and hard work, he acquired another forest, and then another, and another. All within the same proximity. In the midst of his expansion, he asked his wife to manage and tend to the trees within the forests he owns.
Time passes and one day, the wife calls the man and tells him that a particular tree needs attention because something wasn’t right with it.
Because he believed it to be something trivial, he ignored her.
A month later, she asked him a second time to come and look at the tree for it had now infected and killed the surrounding trees next to it. Thinking nothing of it, the man ignored her plea once more.
After that, within no time at all, the entire forest was infected and before the year’s end, one tree single handedly destroyed his entire life’s work.
What is the point of this story?
Do not let arrogance destroy your forest.
Though us men are visionaries and are able to see the forest, women, because of their ability to pay attention to detail, can see the tree.
Even if something may seem insignificant to you, listen to your woman when she warns you about people, places, or things.
When you take care of the tree, you simultaneously care of your forest.
