I am faced with a fork in the road. One path is difficult. And the other path is… impossible. I’ll be honest with you; I envy those people whose life has been a straight journey. I envy individuals who have always known what they wanted to do as a career. A linear path has not been in the cards for me. My major in college went from psychology to computer engineering to business management. I’ve been an eye-wear lab technician, a maintenance man, a landscaper, a sailor, a little league basketball coach, a rapper/record label executive, a street team hustler, a manager for recording artists, a manager for corporate America, a DJ, and now, I’m a podcaster/ author/ Self-Made man. When I tell you to follow your enthusiasm, I’m not just talking out of my ass, it’s something I am doing as well. Now here I am at another crossroads. In the words of my favorite MC Jay-Z, “Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week.”

This blog is article number “100.” Coincidently, April 9th will be the 100th day of 2024. That’s right, 2024 will already be at 100 days next week Tuesday. So, my question to you is, in these first 100 days of the new year… what have you done? Have you made God, your ancestors, and your future-self proud? Have you built some evidence? Have you implemented anything from my articles into your life… or have you just been using them for mental masturbation? Again, I ask, what have you done?
Here’s the good news, after next Tuesday you will have 265 days to turn this thing around and make this year… your BEST year. To be successful, arrange your goals in 90-day intervals instead of trying to crush the entire year all in one attempt. 365 days divided by 90 days equals 4 which means you can accomplish four 90-day challenges within a year. You’ve already missed one 90-day challenge, but you still have time to knock out the remaining three 90-day challenges and end up with a score of 75% for the year. You got this!
