Better This Way

It has been said that when you "assume," you’re making an ass out of u and me.

With that said, I've come to reintroduce a topic I dropped on our IG page titled "Easy Mode."

If you were to ask ten people what’s keeping them from succeeding in life, I’d bet money that you would get ten different answers. Regardless of what answer they’d give, I'm here to tell you that all of them are wrong.

The main reason that many are not where they should be in life is because they are looking for the easy way out. They want to know how to get rich QUICKLY, the FASTEST way to get a woman, and the EASIEST way to lose weight. Look, I get it. Who wants to waste time with effort when there is a simpler way to do said thing?

Easy is not the way.

Appreciation comes when you put in the proper amount of time to improve.

Think about how you felt noticing your gains from a year in the gym. Or how you felt looking at your bank account after months of being disciplined with saving. And think about how you felt after knocking down (having sex) that woman who played hard to get for so long.

Nothing is easy about pursuing your purpose. Hell, nothing is easy about being you!

It is a daily test to continue to be yourself in the face of naysayers while at the same time conquering multiple obstacles that get in your way. To be great, I mean to truly be GREAT, you must endure many things that most people would never consider facing in their life.

Hate, jealousy, greed and so on, ALL dwell within the people around you. Especially when you’re on the road least traveled. The only way to overcome trials is to go through them. Once you do, all that you want and deserve is waiting for you.

Pride, joy, and fulfillment, come not from taking the easy road but from waking up each day, grinding it out, and pushing through. What you plan to accomplish takes the type of work that only YOU can do.

Remember,

if it was easy,

everyone would do it.
