YO, YO, YO…what’s good family? I pray everything is well and you are being great out here, let’s get to it!
Earlier this week, I was watching a video on YouTube. After I finished the video, I did a little scrolling through the comments section. As I was scrolling, I stumbled upon one of the most profound yet most simple quotes I’ve heard (or read) in quite a long time. The quote stated the following… “Do not chase butterflies, instead, focus on making your garden as beautiful as possible, and in time you will see, the butterflies will come on their own.” Fast forward to yesterday, I had forgotten about this quote. I was in the backyard chilling and admiring the flowers when out of nowhere a yellow butterfly appeared. Not to be on some Disney shit, but it was the largest and prettiest butterfly I’ve ever seen. It was almost as if the butterfly knew me because it kept flying super close to me. It came for a brief second, then it was gone. And as fate would have it…I remembered what the quote said.
As men, almost everything we do is for women. Whether it be to attract them, impress them, or to please them, we do it all in the name of pussy. We buy new cars, get tattoos, hit the gym, learn to salsa dance, go back to school, and strive for promotions, all with the hopes that something will help us win with females. But these things are just shortcuts to a woman’s psyche and do not produce fruits in the long run. I’m not here to say this is right or wrong, I’m guilty of doing things for women’s attention as well. We do what we can to the best of our knowledge so that we can attract the opposite sex, mate, and reproduce, this is how mankind survives. For the most part, the things we do to attract women is a subconscious effort and it’s not something we are aware of, it’s just…our nature.
This is the one thing our nature doesn’t seem to know or realize, because if it did understand this, men wouldn’t be in such bad shape Today. The only thing that speaks to a woman’s nature, the only thing that women really love about men… is VALUE. Getting a haircut and some new shoes is cool, but if you want women wanting and needing you, you’re going to have to be a man of VALUE. This “Value” that I speak of comes from a man’s ability to successfully Provide, Protect, and Produce…3 of the 5 p’s. These 3 p’s speaks to a woman’s nature because it demonstrates competency and competency keeps the panties wet, I don’t make the rules fam. Unfortunately, we men are not born with our value, we have to put in an extreme amount of work and grind to MAKE ourselves into men of value, thus the term…Self-Made-Man. Women on the other hand are BORN with their value. Think about it… their body, their beauty, their feminine energy… all the things we value in them are all the things they are inherently born with. A woman doesn’t have to build a damn thing. For whatever reason though, many modern women today are CHOOSING to be 2nd rate imitations of men over being 1st class women, but that’s another subject. In order to attract 1st class women, high quality women, you must be a man of value and in order to be a man of value you must be able to Provide, Protect, and Produce successfully and consistently.
I am currently reading (listening to) the book “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho and I highly recommend it. The main message of the book is that one must pursue and actualize one’s Personal Legend, no matter what! Your Personal Legend is your purpose, your life’s mission, and it is through our Personal Legend that we find peace, joy, and fulfillment. I have an article on how to find your purpose, it’s imperative that you check it out. In order to become a man of value, in order to become a man who has made himself into the best version of himself, you must also commit yourself entirely to your Personal Legend. Here’s an excerpt from “The Alchemist” I would like to share with you… '‘The soul of the world is nourished by people’s happiness, and also… by unhappiness, envy, and jealousy…to realize one’s Personal Legend is a person’s only real obligation, all things are one, and when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
Being a Self-Made-Man is not just some catch phrase. Being Self-Made tells the world, and yourself, that you are a man who lives on purpose, who has purpose, and who spends each day focused on actualizing that purpose. Being Self-Made says “I did not go around feeling sorry for myself, I did not play victim, I built myself into a man of VALUE and now I can demand of the world exactly what I want.” A Self-Made-Man puts himself first, not because he is selfish, but because it enables him to add VALUE to the lives of others. Self-Made-Men do not wonder if they are worth a woman’s time, instead, a Self-Made-Man contemplates if the woman is worth…his time. A Self-Made-Man is someone who attracts butterflies not because he’s special or lucky, but because he focused on making a beautiful garden first.
