There will ALWAYS be opposition.
If you choose to stand on something, somebody will oppose you. If you decide not to stand on something, somebody will oppose you. You could literally be sitting somewhere being quiet as hell and somebody will still be like, “Aye! Look at that quiet ass ninja over there!” If you believe that the world is round, or that two plus two equals four… guess what? Somebody, somewhere, will oppose you.
As magical and as charming as they are, even the old school Disney movies are filled with opposition. To the best of my knowledge, dalmatian dogs just be chillin’, like I’ve never had to run from a dalmatian, even so, Cruella Deville was in “101 Dalmatians” trying to kill every last one of them damn dogs. In “The Lion King”, did Mufasa receive a glorious death for being the magnificent king that he was? No, he was thrown off of some random cliff by his own hating ass brother. In “The Beauty and The Beast”, the beast wasn’t bothering a soul, but nevertheless, people with nothing else better to do formed a huge lynch mob just to go and harass this poor man.
As great and as giving and as loving as my Lord is… even he has opposition. We don’t really think about it, but there really are invisible spirits out here on some, “Yeah, fuck all that love and happiness shit son!”
Mercedes Benz, Rolex, and Gucci, all laugh in the face of opposition. If you never buy a single item, they could give zero fucks. Their price is their price, and you can choose to ride with them, or not. Either way, they still gon’ do what they gon’ do, with or without you.
These luxury brands succeed because they focus strictly on the 2%.
Only 2% of people will actually fuck with you the long way and want to see you win. The other 98%, though sometimes they might come to you disguised as a friend or a lover, are just interference…distractions…opposition, all in which are put in your path to try and steer you away from your purpose and mission.
The biggest offense of all is when you refuse to stay true to yourself simply because you don’t want the smoke. If there will always be opposition, REGARDLESS, then you might as well say what you want to say, do what you want to do, and be who you want to be.
Cultivate a Loius Vuitton mindset by setting your price and concerning yourself only with the 2%.
The other 98% ain’t your business.
Let’s Go 2 Work.
