Back 2 da Basics

Yo,yo,yo! I think I’ma just stick with the yo,yo,yo intro. Let’s get to work!

Today, men have become too complicated. Men have become complicated because we have become too emotional. We are full of scarcity thinking, envy, jealousy, insecurity, and hate. We can blame women for this, but this is our fault. We have lost understanding of basic principles. When the brain lacks understanding, the heart takes over and pumps us full of emotions as a way to cope with what we do not understand. It’s time we get back to some basic PRINCIPLES in order to become the men we are designed to be. The bible states that “There is no respect of persons with God.”(Romans 2:11) This simply means…you ain’t special. I’ll tell you what God does respect…PRINCIPLES. Successful people, whether they believe in God or not become successful not because they are special, but because they follow basic principles.

Principle #1-PURPOSE. This computer I write on has a purpose. Your house has a purpose. Your car has a purpose. Your dick has a purpose. How is it that everything around you has a purpose besides you? Follow what excites you. It cannot be watching TV or playing video games unless in doing so has purpose. Don’t worry about finding your exact purpose right now, just worry about following the enthusiasm inside you. Doing so will lead to the thing that will lead to thing you are meant to do.

Principle #2- FAITH. Faith means to have COMPLETE trust or confidence in someone or something. It doesn’t say have some trust, or have a little bit of trust, it says to have COMPLETE trust. Have FAITH that everything will work out in your favor, even if you make a wrong decision. Have FAITH that what is yours is WAITING on YOU so you must work hard not to have more but to have what is yours already. FAITH.

Principle #3-SERVICE. The action of helping or doing work for someone. Who and what does your purpose serve. You are not put here to just fuck a bunch of women. When you die, nobody will be talking about your body count. They will only talk about how you served. Jesus washed the feet of his servants to show us the importance of serving others regardless of how important you think you are. Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, have all created things that SERVE humanity. If you want to be successful with your business, relationships, self…SERVE.

Principle #4-WORK. “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.” (Proverbs 10:4) Need I say more?

Principle #5-Balance. (K.I.M)-Keep It Moving. Just like on a bicycle, if you stop moving, you will fall.

Principle #6- Reciprocity. This means mutual exchange. All the answers are already given to us if we take the time to look around. Nature is rooted in reciprocity. Nature feeds the animals, the animals feed us. You must plant and tend to the seeds before you can reap the harvest. How much time have you given into finding your purpose? How much have you spent developing your mind, body, and/or relationships? You must feed what feeds you.

Principle #7-Sacrifice. Women have the luxury of not thinking long term, we do not. Men must delay gratification so that our later will be greater.

Principle #8-Keep. Keep the faith. Keep steady. Keep it together. Keep moving. Keep silent. Keep grinding. Keep going. Keep being the example. Keep improving. Keep your honor and values. Keep standing up for what you believe in. Keep showing up. Keep an abundant mindset. KEEP.

Principle #9-Will Power. This means to have strong determination that allows one to do something difficult. It is the ability to control one’s own actions, emotions, or urges. Steve jobs stated, “I’m convinced that about half of what separates successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.” Without will power, you cannot persevere.

Principle #10-100%. If you’re going to play basketball. You cannot just play basketball. There’s rules and regulations you have to abide by. You have to know how to speak and answer questions after the game. You have to ignore hecklers. You have to practice and memorize plays. You have to learn how to work as a team. You have to have a good attitude and you have to be coachable. If you are going to be a chef, you can’t just cook, you must also learn how to run a business. If you are going to be a manager, you also have to do public speaking, go to company events, and probably take orders from people who are not as smart as you. Whatever you do, in order to be successful, you must play 100% of the game and you must give every aspect of the game 100% effort. You cannot just do what you like to do. You cannot just do what is easy. Not playing the full game has been my downfall and the reason why I have not excelled in my work life. There is no way around this. If you are gonna play the game, play the game 100%.

We’ve become too complicated, it’s time to get back to the basics:

Purpose, Faith, Service, Work, Balance, Reciprocity, Sacrifice, Keep, Will Power, 100%.
